Diana Bogosian
Diana Marie Bogosian, 70, of Lexington, Nebraska passed away unexpectedly at her home on February 25, 2022 in Lexington.
She was born on May 12, 1951 in Oskaloosa, Iowa to James Robert “J.R.” and Rosie (Oseka) Wilson. She received her primary education from Omaha before moving to Lexington during 8th grade. She then attended Lexington and graduated from Lexington High School with the class of 1969.
Diana lived the majority of her life in Lexington and adopted two sons, Ted and Tim. In her younger years, she cleaned at Excel and Cornland Dressed Beef. Diana then spent the next thirty plus years working for Wal-Mart. She worked in Human Resource and helped train new employees for other Wal-Marts throughout the state.
Diana was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington.
Diana loved going to craft shows, attending junk jaunts and decorating for Christmas, which was a year-round theme. She enjoyed playing the slot machines at the casino and spending time with her best friends, the Sentelle clan and her Walmart family. She also faithfully followed her sons playing sports and school activities.
Survivors include her sons, Ted (Amy Jo) Bogosian of Grand Island and Tim (Jennie) Bogosian of Lincoln; two grandchildren, Abby (fiancé Jono Kubicka) Bogosian of Odessa and Landon Bogosian of Grand Island.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents, James Robert Wilson and Rose Carolyn (Oseka) Wilson and brother Larry Wilson.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington with Father Jose Chavez, officiating. The Service will be live-streamed via the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home Facebook page. (link)
There will be no visitation, as the family is honoring Diana’s wish for cremation.
Inurnment will be in Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. Following the burial there will be a lunch served at St. Ann’s Catholic Church.
A memorial has been established in Diana’s honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.

Linda Bonner
Linda Bonner, 70, of Kearney passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Kearney Regional Medical Center.
Linda was born the daughter of Frank and Beulah (Courter) Reed on December 10, 1950. The youngest of six children, she was raised in the rural countryside outside of Lexington, Nebraska. She graduated from Lexington High School with the Class of 1969. Shortly after high school, she found employment in Holdrege where she met her soon-to-be husband. On October 23, 1971 she was united in marriage to Greg Bonner in Lexington. To this union, two sons were blessed: Kent and Shane. Her boys have always meant the world to her as she devoted her life to supporting their activities and encouraging their dreams.
Linda was employed as an administrative assistant at Kearney Urology for many years prior to retirement. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spoiling her dogs. She loved to bake and created several ‘family famous’ desserts and treats during the holidays. She was also an avid Husker fan. Above all, she had the most joy spending time with her three grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Kent Bonner and his wife, Dawn of Alexandria, Virginia and Shane Bonner and his wife, Kelly of Kearney; grandchildren, Mason and Griffin Bonner of Alexandria, Lauren Bonner of Kearney, Tre (Malorie) Ostergard of Estes Park, Colorado, and Chase Ostergard of Lincoln; great granddaughter, Meredith Ostergard of Estes Park; sister, Shirley Hill of Kearney; brother Dennis (Barbara) Reed of Fort Collins, Colorado; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents as well as her brothers, Jack, Larry and David Reed.

Jean Bowling
Jean Arlene Bowling, 64 of Kearney, Nebraska, formerly of Doniphan, Nebraska, passed away suddenly in Mercedes, Texas, on Wednesday, December 2, 2015.
Jean was born May 4, 1951, in Lexington, Nebraska, to Fred M. and Geraldine (Eby) Vollmer.
She attended school in Lexington and graduated with the Class of 1969. On October 11, 1980, she was united in marriage to Jim Bowling at the Fairhaven Baptist Church in rural Lexington. The couple lived in Lexington until 1985, when they moved to Grand Island, Nebraska. Jean had worked at B&D, Plectron, New Holland, Shopko and Wal-Mart. The couple also resided in Pennsylvania for two years.
After retirement, the couple moved to Kearney, Nebraska and spent their winters in Mercedes, Texas, where they have made numerous friends. Jean enjoyed shopping, keeping a clean house, reading, exercising, golfing, and planting and caring for her flowers. In the couple’s early years they enjoyed remodeling many of their homes. Jean loved country music and they attended many concerts. The couple also enjoyed traveling all over the United States. Jean was a little lady with a huge heart. Family and friends meant everything to her.
Survivors include: Her husband: Jim Bowling of Kearney, Nebraska One son: Dean Bowling of Port Washington, Wisconsin One Daughter: Angie Bowling of Arvada, Colorado Her mother: Geri Vollmer of Lexington, Nebraska Two sisters: Janet and husband Ray Bitner of Overton, Nebraska, and Janice and husband Pat Kelley of Gretna, Nebraska; brother and sister in law, Lew and Vivian Bowling of Lexington, Kentucky. Five Grandchildren: Josh, Jake, Elizabeth, Andrew and Thomas. One great grandson: Cole Jean is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Jean was preceded in death by her father, Fred; and mother & father in-law, Rev L. Paul and Kathryn Bowling.
Jean’s body will be cremated in Texas and a memorial service and inurnment to be held at a later date in Lexington, Nebraska. Memorials are suggested to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.

Jenny Cronkhite
Jenny L. Cronkhite, 64, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at Plum Creek Healthcare Community in Lexington.
Jenny was born July 8, 1951, in Lexington, Nebraska, to Glenn Eugene and Betty Marie (Reddick) Horn. She attended grade school in Lexington and graduated from Lexington High School with the class of 1969. She then went onto further her education at Grand Island School of Business, graduating with an Accounting Degree.
She was united in marriage to Ralph Cronkhite on June 25, 1973, in Lexington. Two girls were blessed to this marriage; Heather and Joy. The marriage would later end in divorce.
Jenny’s love for kids was so apparent as she had her own Daycare for many years. She then went to work for Lexington Public Schools in the Janitorial Department, first working at the Lexington Junior High and then the high school.
In 2004, her health forced her to retire. She had many interests in her life, but none more important than her family. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, dancing, and cats. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a sparkle in her eye, and a love for life.
Survivors include her daughters; Heather (Ryan) Devine of Lexington, Nebraska, Joy Duda of Cape Coral, Florida; granddaughter, McKenzie Hill of Lexington, Nebraska; her father, Glenn Horn of Lexington, Nebraska; two brothers, Grant Horn of Lexington, Nebraska, and Jerry (Elaine) Horn of Shubert, Nebraska; one sister, Suzann (David) Burnett of Danvers, Massachusetts; also surviving are nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Jenny was preceded in death by her mother, Betty; and little brother, Gale.
It was Jenny’s desire that her body be cremated. The family has carried out those wishes. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Berean Bible Church in Lexington with Pastor Matt Doubet and Pastor Duane Russell co- officiating. Memorials are suggested to Club 180 in Lexington.

Eddie Garcia
Eddie L. Garcia, 71, of Lexington, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at CHI Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
He was born on January 17, 1951, in Lexington, Nebraska, to Eddie S. and Margaret (Garringer) Garica. Eddie received his education from Lexington Public Schools and graduated from Lexington High School with the class of 1969. Following high school, Eddie was inducted into the United States Army-National Guard where he proudly served his country until he was honorably discharged on November 11, 1975.
Eddie settled back in Lexington and married Denice Unterseher on June 8, 1975 at the First United Methodist Church in Lexington. Two children were blessed to this union: Chad and Stacey. Eddie worked for the state with the Nebraska Department of Roads, Sperry New Holland until they closed before starting a long career as a floor covering installer. Eddie started with his cousin, Mark Hueftle and installed flooring for over 30 years. After retirement, Eddie starting working for Elanco, collecting data for Tyson for a few years.
Eddie had many hobbies which included hunting and fishing. He won many trophies Trap Shooting and was a dog lover. Eddie also enjoyed tinkering, taking things apart and seeing how things worked. He loved old cars, especially corvettes and his pride and joy were his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Denice of Lexington; his children, Chad (Melissa) Garcia of Broken Bow and Stacey (Brandon) Gibreal of Kearney; four grandchildren, Kennedy, Gavin, Grace and Brody; two brothers, Brent Garcia of Elwood and Dave (Susan) Garcia of Lincoln; brothers and sister-in-law, Mike Unterseher of Inola, Oklahoma, Ron Unterseher of Denver, Colorado, Dave (Vickie) Unterseher of Lexington and Sheila (Kurt) Glen of Lincoln; special friends, Bob (Diane) Adams of Kearney; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Besides his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by his nephews, David and J.R.
Funeral Services will be on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Lexington with Pastor Velma Tim, officiating. The service will be live-streamed via the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home Facebook page.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington. The Casket will be closed.
Interment with Military Honors will be in Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington.
