Debra Abrams
Debra A. Abrams, 64, of Elm Creek, Nebraska, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Good Samaritan Society - St. John's in Kearney.
She was born on November 10, 1961, in Denver, Colorado, to Loren and Joyce (Hughes) Royle. The family later moved to Lexington where she graduated from Lexington High School with the class of 1980. Over the years, Debra worked at several nursing homes in the Lexington and Gothenburg area and dedicated over 25 years as their activity's director.
Debra enjoyed spending her days tanning in the sunshine and maintaining a fresh manicure. She loved being with her family, playing cards, keno, and having a nice cold drink with her friends.
Survivors include her children, Andrea Reimers and Aaron (Brian Seifert) Reimers; grandchildren, Gage, Madden, and Hadley; brothers, Loren and Glen Royle; sister, Becki (Scott) Meredith; as well as extended family and many friends.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Joyce and Loren Royle and her brothers, Niels and Leroy Royle.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington with Pastor Rob Kuefner officiating.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington.
Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Lexington.
Memorials are kindly suggested to the family for later designation.

Ricky Blodgett
Member of the Omaha Nebraska Fire Dept. having served from 10-27-1997 until his death from cancer.
Ricky L. Blodgett died on September 14, 2003 at the age of 42 years of age. Ricky was born April 2, 1961 in Lexington, NE the son of Ronald L. and Marilyn (Maxwell) Blodgett. 
He is survived by wife Dorine (Bonnell) Blodgett, daughters Jordan and Mackenzie all of Papillion, NE, parents Ronald and Cheryl Blodgett of Litchfield, NE., Marilyn Dantice of San Diego, CA., sisters and brother-in-law CherieLynn Kovar of Pasco, WA., Shelly Morganflash of Sutherland, NE., Laurie and Barry Bauer of Overton, NE, Crystal Blodgett of Claremore, OK., Trinity Dantice of San Diego, CA., brothers and sister-in-law Charles and Loretta Clark of Hurley, NM., Micah Dantice of San Diego, CA., Patrick Payton of Phoenix, AZ., grandmothers Verna Blodgett , Betty Fread both of Lexington, NE., 9 God Children, numerous Nieces and Nephews and The Brotherhood of Omaha Fire Fighters.
Services were held Wednesday September 17, 2003 2:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Life Center. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, Omaha, NE Memorials to Fire Fighters Memorial Fund or American Cancer Society.
Roy Buchholz
Roy Alan Buchholz, 47, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away Monday, March 23, 2009, following a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by his loving family.
He was born October 30, 1961, at Lexington, Nebraska to Wayne Benjamin and Margie Marie (Fellows) Buchholz. Roy grew up in Lexington and graduated from Lexington High School with the class of 1980. He started working at Orthman Manufacturing during high school and later went to work for Monroe Auto at Cozad. At the time of his death he had spent more than 25 years at Monroe Auto as a Tool & Die machinist.
He was united in marriage to Whitney Deardorff on November 20, 1999, at Buffalo Grove Presbyterian Church at Lexington.
Roy enjoyed woodworking, especially making wooden animals, welding and inventing ways to make every day chores easier to do. He also loved listening to music and being outdoors watching the eagles, target practicing and fishing.
Roy was a "fantastic dad" who loved being with his family and friends.

One brother: John (Brenda) Buchholz of Lexington, Nebraska Two sisters: Donna (Lenwood) Mobley of Lincoln, Nebraska Lois (Jim) Underwood of Lexington, Nebraska. Mother-in-law & father-in-law: Ralph & Charlene Ogier of Gothenburg, Nebraska, Sister-in-law: Nichole (Pat) Maez of Cozad, Nebraska, Brother-in-law: Tim Ogier of Gothenburg, Nebraska. Special Friends: Chris & Shelley Thompson of Elwood, Nebraska Jana Adams of Cozad, Nebraska. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Craig Deardorff; one brother, Jim; grandparents and two uncles.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, March 26, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at Buffalo Grove Presbyterian Church at Lexington, Nebraska with Ethel Fox, PMA and Reverend Karen Woo co-officiating. Burial will be in the Buffalo Grove Presbyterian Cemetery next to the church.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2009, from l-7 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Chapel in Lexington.
Memorials, in lieu of flowers, are suggested to the family for later designation.

RICKY LEE DEWEY, Lexington, Nebraska
Ricky Lee Dewey died after attempting to save David W. Struempler from drowning, Bertrand, Nebraska, August 6, 1989. Struempler, 19, a non- swimmer, fell from a bridge into the Tri-County Canal and was carried downstream. His cousin, Dewey, 27, farm hand, entered the water and waded and swam to him. A struggle ensued, during which Dewey was submerged repeatedly. Another man entered the water and swam to Struempler, who was by then unconscious, and towed him to the bank, where Struempler revived. Dewey drowned.
Ricky Lee Dewey was honored for his heroic act by the Carnegie Hero Fund Commission.
