Patrick Payton

Patrick L. Payton, age 59, of Litchfield, NE, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at CHI Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. A celebration of life service will be on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Spartan Café in Litchfield, NE. There will be no visitation. Pat was born on February 8, 1965 in Cozad, NE. He attended Lexington High School and graduated in 1983. Pat moved to Phoenix AZ and worked in a tool and dye career until he moved back to Nebraska in 2011. Pat was most recently working at the Spartan Café in Litchfield, where they loved him and treated him like family.

Surviving relatives include his sisters, Shelly Allen and her husband Mitch of Hershey, NE, Laurie Bauer and her husband Barry of Kearney, NE and Crystal Smith and her husband John of Ottawa, KS; sister in law, Dorine Blodgett of Papillion, NE; several nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Cheryl (Fread) and Ron Blodgett; brother, Rick Blodgett; and sister, Cherie Lynn Payton.
